Guardistallo
This little town is situated on a hill in the hinterland of the Etruscan Coast between Montescudaio and Casale Marittimo approximately 12 km inland from the seaside resorts of Cecina Mare and 15 inland from Marina di Bibbona. There are wonderful views of the surrounding hills and the sea. There are shops and very good restaurants in the town and small concerts and various events are held in the square during the summer. Guardistallo is much loved by tourists for its natural attractions and for its vicinity to Volterra (30 km), San Gimignano (50 km), Siena (80 km), Pisa (60 km), Lucca (70 km), Florence (120 km), Caldana Terme (30 km), Populonia and the isola d’Elba (ca.60 km).
